Sexual assault
Refers to all types of physical, verbal, and emotional violence that infringe one’s right to sexual privacy.

If sexual assault occurs
- do not be alone, but escape to a safe place, such as your family’s or friend’s house.
- Ask for help to those who care about you and support you, or call Korea Sexual Violence Relief Center, Sunflower Center, or the women helpline number 1366.
- Without washing, take your clothes that you wore at the time of the assault and other evidence and go directly to a hospital or the police.
- Take photos of any bruises or scars on your body.
- Do not delete, but keep records of conversation with the victimizer that could be used for evidence.
